Clearwater Beach is at the west end of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard, or State Road 60. Sugar-white sands, warm Gulf of Mexico waters and fiery sunsets are just a few of the things to expect from a trip to Clearwater Beach.
Start your day off early, park at one of the public parking lots or privately-owned garages and parking lots. Public beach entrances are located throughout the beach starting at South Gulfview Boulevard near Opal Sands and ending at Eldorado Avenue right before Carlouel Yacht Club. To ensure a safe and clean experience for visitors, the beach is monitored by lifeguards year round and cleaned and raked every day by city staff.
Clearwater Beach is very walkable with ample restaurants and shops in close proximity. Beach Walk is located to the south of Pier 60 and is a winding beachside promenade with lush landscaping, artistic touches and clear views of the beach,
Clearwater is home to a large array of dining options and culinary experiences, but is most well known for its fresh selection of Gulf Coast seafood, especially the grouper sandwich, a local favorite.
The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down! After you’ve soaked up the sunshine and watched the sunset, go fishing on Pier 60, watch street performers and shop local vendors at the Sunsets at Pier 60 Nightly Celebration, go on one of the Clearwater Beach Marina’s scenic dinner cruises or listen to live music at one of the many Clearwater hotels and restaurants.
